My name is Shane Harris, and I started my YouTube channel, Timber and Brush, in 2025 with the goal of sharing my journey in traditional sign making. In a world that feels increasingly automated, I wanted to document and preserve the craftsmanship, patience, and human touch behind hand-lettered and carved signs. Through my videos and work, I hope not only to continue learning the craft myself, but also to encourage others to slow down, work with their hands, and explore the timeless art of traditional sign making.

Beyond the videos, the digital assets and resources I offer are created as an extension of that same mission. Every practice sheet, design asset, and educational resource is built to the best of my ability with the goal of being genuinely useful and providing real value to those learning these skills.
